$111,000 For This? Really?

null

Colorado Springs, which is a stone’s throw from my Denver base, spent $111,000 of taxpayers money on this travesty. Whether or not it was designed by committee is hard to say, although it looks that way. Rotten typography, a clip-art image and some dull, uninspiring colors are bad enough….”Live it up!” as a tag line is painful. And the campaign that comes with it is equally blah. It’s a shame that it takes so many people and so much money to create something so forgettable. One great designer, $10,000 and no interference would have given a better result and saved a ton of cash. What a crying shame.
