The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Kyle XY, Pretty Little Liars — ABC Family has churned out some of the most addictive teen/young adult (and of course adults who just can’t resist) dramas on television over the last few years and their latest series Jane By Design has fallen in the footsteps of its predecessors.

Series star Erica Dasher is new to the television world, with Jane By Design being her very first starring role in a primetime series. Before landing her role on the hit show, Erica starred in a popular web series called The Lake. She also stepped behind the camera and produced a documentary about high school speech and debate clubs.

I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with this incredibly lovely young actor about her role in ABC Family’s Jane By Design, working behind the camera and whether or not she gets to keep any of those fabulous clothes from her show…
