Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame Announces 2012 Inductees

The Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame’s “Class of 2012″ has been announced. Morning personality Greg Kihn (KFOX FM 102.1 San Francisco and 98.5 San Jose) and midday personality Steven Seaweed (107.7 The Bone) will be inducted on October 6, 2012. (Photo: bayarearadio.com)

Other Bay area radio professionals include: San Burford, Bob Melrose, Alice Potter, Ted Robinson, Tony Salvadore, Susan Leigh Taylor, and Chuck Waltman.

“I never thought I would achieve anything like this. I am honestly humbled,” said Kihn in a prepared news release. Kihn is also known for several hit songs and videos from the 1980s with The Greg Kihn Band including “Jeopardy” and “The Breakup Song.”
