Moscato is all the rage right now with hip-hop tunes, millenials and sweet-wine fans all singing its praises and buying in bulk.  And no wonder, Moscato is a light-hearted white wine with fun frizzante (a spritzy fizz), high residual sugar and lower alcohol levels (5-8%) and its typically pretty easy on the wallet (most bottles sell for under $10).

Classic Italian Moscato hails from Italy’s northern Piedmont region, though vineyards across the globe are cultivating Muscat grapes and making their own rendition of highly aromatic, semi-sparkling, sweet wines for dessert pairings or to enjoy by themselves.
