I’ve posted about Animal Radio before. It’s a niche audio stream devoted to pet owners and the animals they love. Maybe not surprisingly, the show attracts its share of celebrities who want to talk about their favorite animals. Singer/songwriter Bret Michaels is the next up. He’ll be featured on Saturday, July 14. Michaels has recently teamed up with PetSmart, creating his own line of pet toys and accessories called Pets Rock Collection, so you know that will be part of the conversation. Animal Radio is now heard on over 100 AM and FM stations across the United States as well as XM Satellite Radio (channel 166 and 102). Animal Radio can also be streamed online at AnimalRadio.com. The two-hour show says it now has over 350,000 listeners-a-week.
It began in 1999 when Hal Abrams bid goodbye to a 17-year routine of doing morning radio and struck out on his own. He is now co-hosts the show with Judy Francis, also the Executive Producer.
