It is not politics as usual. Social media has changed the way we express ourselves and communicate with each other. Today, Sirius XM will launch Politics Powered by Twitter – a live, daily one-hour show covering politics as seen via Twitter. The program will air on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S., the non-partisan channel dedicated to the “Politics of the United States.” (Graphic: Sirius XM Radio)
Satellite subscribers will hear politics as sent through the Twittersphere in Tweets from politicians, journalists, and celebrities. Political issues, electoral races, and breaking news will all be discussed on the show. Politics Powered by Twitter is hosted by Lee Brenner and Slade Sohmer. It will air 6 – 7:00 p.m. ET on SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S., channel 124. Sirius XM listeners can send Tweets to the show @politicsradio.
