It looks great, and you can vary it all sorts of different ways, depending on what fruit you like and what’s in season. Strawberries are an excellent all-around choice, but when fresh raspberries are in season, I like to use those. For a creamier base, try using mascarpone cheese instead of cream cheese. This soft, spreadable Italian cheese is rich and has a much more complex flavor than cream cheese.
