Nothing quite gets the entire web in a drooling state of anxiety like the unveiling of the latest, shiniest new thing from Apple.
Unless you were one of the clueless individuals who had no idea what was going on, you probably saw the wave of tweets, Facebook updates and blog posts about the “New” iPad, which was revealed to the world this past Wednesday.
For the sake of keeping things mildly short here, you can head on over to see what our iPad Guide wrote regarding his first impressions of the new device.
Of course, like with any shiny new Apple device that team Apple previously waved around in front of an audience, the gossip soon followed as iPad predicitions were either confirmed or totally busted.
“It doesn’t have this. It doesn’t have that. I’m sad that it’s thicker than the last one. It needs Siri. It’s still doesn’t take USB? Why not iPad THREE or iPad HD? I will surely go blind from looking at all those pixels!”
I may have exaggerated there, just a bit.
But through all the complaining, all the hype and all the incurable Apple addictions there are out there, eager consumers rushed to preorder the darned things, and it looks like Apple is fresh out of preordered iPad stock at this time.
If you missed the preorder rush but still want to receive yours ASAP, you can still put in an order and expect to receive it around March 23rd or later, depending on how things go from there.
When that marvelous new piece of glassy gadgetry arrives at your door, be sure to check out the Draw Something app. Of course, you can still check it out if you’re also an Android or iPhone user, but it’s really a must-have app for your new (or old) iPad too.
