What Makes You Happy?

Though research from positive psychology shows us that there is a recipe, of sorts, to creating a happiness-promoting lifestyle, the specific things that make us happy are somewhat subjective. Different things bring happiness to different people. Here are some happiness recipes from some of my readers:

“If you develop a habit of graditude you focus more on what you have than what you don’t have. You won’t be stressing on about your wants and will live enjoying the blessings you ignore when you are worrying.”–Mario Conserve

“There is no regret, only a lesson. Whatever happens, happens for good. If someone breaks your heart, it’s their fault and they should cry, not you.”–Asmita

“At the end of each day I write down five things which were good that day. I soon found that during the day I was looking for the good things so I would remember to note them down later.
