Tom Curry will miss England’s autumn series after being ruled out for 12 weeks with a dislocated wrist.
The Sale flanker, who was due to be on the bench for Saturday’s Test against Argentina, had surgery on his wrist on Thursday evening.
An England statement read: “Following a scan on Thursday afternoon, it has been confirmed that Curry dislocated a small bone in his left wrist.

“He underwent a minor operation this evening and is likely to be out for up to 12 weeks.”
Exeter Chiefs forward Sam Simmonds has been called up to replace Curry and will win his first cap if introduced from the bench against the Pumas.
