Scotland international Stuart McInally has signed a new two-year contract with Edinburgh.
The Edinburgh hooker has made 110 appearance for his hometown team since joining in 2010.
McInally made the switch from the back-row to the front-row in 2013 and since then has secured his position as one of Edinburgh’s most consistent players.
The 27-year-old, who scored two tries for Scotland against Samoa at the weekend, said: “I’m extremely pleased to be staying in Edinburgh.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of the team and I feel we have strong foundations in place to move the club forward over the next few years.”
Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill added: “Stuart McInally has been Scotland’s form hooker and I’m delighted that he sees his future in Edinburgh.”
